【大紀元1月6日訊 】(大紀元綜合報導) 讓我們帶您潛入氣氛詭譎的深海，搜尋人們未曾親眼目睹其活動的生物。
雪蟹(Yeti crab)
這種暫定名為雪蟹(Yeti crab)的生物，如絲般雪白，看起來似乎生活在喜馬拉雅山區，但這種獨特的生物卻是最近在南太平洋的深海中被發現的。這種蟹的前臂和腳上長滿的那種纖細如髮絲般的毛的作用很神秘。一些科學家認為這種纖纖細毛能夠捕獲細菌作為它們的食物，但也有一些科學家認為這些細毛能夠過濾掉深海處噴湧出的有毒礦物質。
這種被稱作「雪蟹」生物是如此獨特，科學家們經過一年的研究後對其還有眾多不甚瞭解之處，只好重新劃分出一個種類來對其進行歸屬，正式命名為KIWA HIRSUTA。
